That’s a beautiful render of the Taj Mahal. I love the grayscale look of the first one. The modeling is great as is the mood of the picture. The trees are nice too.

Thanks for giving us the reference picture (second image) from which you worked

The water also add a lot to the image, especially in the reflection of the taj mahal so thumbs up on that one

Very nice work 8)

Yes, that looks really good. The one thing I would recommend is adding some fresnel to the water reflection so that it’s less reflective the further down from the horizon you go. Right now it looks a little too much like a mirror.

Greetings:
Great work as allways G_taurus, i prefer the b&w version, looks just like a postcard, i agree with metsys, some fresnel in the water to make it look less like a mirror would make it look even better

Oh wow, I remember that building!

Nice but for a sunny day like this, aren’t those walkway next to the water a bit dark? (the stone/concrete next to the surface of the water)

What’s this temple about anyways, I remember building a 1000 pieces puzzle with my brothers, but I didn’t really know what this templle is for.

thanks for constructive crits

I will try improve this scene.

From the top of my head it was built by a heartbroken Sultan (am not quite sure of the title) as a tribute to one of his beloved dead wives, it also serves a a tomb. The white symbolising the purity of her soul and their love for each other.

That’s really outstanding work, I really like the gray scale one.

Another nice work of you G!

Firstly, fantastic render and modeling.

Moving on to the story of Taj Mahal, it is not a temple, it is a memorial, built by a great Mughal (name of a flourishing and liberal muslim empire) ruler of India by name Shah Jahan in the memory of his beautiful wife Mumtaz. Legend says that, the once revered emperor was imprisoned by his own son (a tyrannical successor to the throne) and spent his last days gazing at the majestic monument through the lone window of his cell.

nice…
Rabindranath Tagore - the famouse indian poet described the taj mahal as “A tear drop on the cheek of time”
you work really capture the whole idea.
