Take a look

There is only one of those objects there, and there two mirrors that cause the objects look like they are repeating, but every second of those objects has this weird thing happen to the texture as you can see.

The mirrors are set to ray depth of 4.
The material that you see that is wrong, has no reflection and it is only hs color and no texture. Everything else is set at default settings.

Is it a bug?

Bump o_0 ---------------------------------------------------------

Bump, come on people I need to know if its a bug or not!

Probably the same problem as described in this thread :

Mike

P.S. I answered DESPITE your “bumps” … which is one of the most annoying things someone can do in a forum and usually causes me (and probably others) to ignore threads.

I am not doing it for myself, or because I am having fun “bumping” things. I am busy and doing this is not on my daily tasks. All I needed was someones reply so that I can confirm it is a bug and that I can submit it to the bug report.

So, on that notice thank you for your reply, I do not think the link you gave is related to this, but thanks anyway, now I am about 85% sure it is a bug.

It is pretty much impossible to tell that without the blend-file, which is probably the reason why no one has answered.

I don’t even get, how your scene is build up, from that screenshot - maybe, just maybe the Ray depth is too low, but that is really only vague guessing. As SG said, it would be a great help to a) post the .blend file and b) to be a little more patient.

And before submitting a bug, try to narrow the problem down. Try to build another scene to reproduce it. (If you can’t do that, how should the developers find clues on what is going wrong?)
It might be a good idea to add, why you think it is a bug, too (you seem to be pretty sure…).
