Im in the process of my mechwarrior game, the mech works fine all its weapons are in place. Ive got the starting bit working where a drop ship drop you off and flies into the distance. It starts of with you have to take out a commmunications dish protected by two turrets, these use track to to target you and works fine, ive even got a system that allow different parts of the mech to be damaged. However im now moving onto tanks which will be the main enemy (mechs will be bosses). So ive got the base which contains the AI for movement, no problem, but the top uses the same track to system as the turrets but it completly messes up. The top never quite aims at the mech and wobbles all over the place. I have moved it around placed the axis in the right position and im out of ideas. Does anyone have any suggestions, without python preferably (you can do a heck of a lot with using python i have discovered) of how id get this to work. I hope my explanation was adequate, if not say. Thank in advance.
hey… yea i know the problem… 2 track tos screw things up
to solve this problem, “vertex parent” the turret to the body so that when the body turns/tracks to it wont mess up the turrets track to
if u want, u cant send me the file, i can definately fix the problem for u
