So, I’m working on my first full mesh that I play to animate and I’m wondering what is a reasonable number of vertices for animation. I know there are many, many different factors that determine this, but surely there are some reasonable guidelines.
For example, would 6k be considers a medium number or large number for animation? This isn’t for a game.
The reason I’m asking is because I’m doing retopo right now and am trying to figure out if I need to get more creative to reduce the number of quads.
