Tearing Problem

I’m modeling a character, and certian areas seem to look like they are tearing. I have a picture of what I mean. Any help as to what the problem might be is greatly appreciated.


Have you tried recalculating the normals or removing doubles? Hope that works.


I recalculated normals. I will have to try removing doubles.

try giving another view of the problem. What i am seeing looks like a product of the angle you have the view in.

Ok, I can give another view. I also triend removing doubles, that didn’t work either.

Also, I have a question about making an eyeball. I get the eyeball made (tut from wiki) then after I load the iris texture, how can I make more materials without the iris texture showing up in those also?
