This is my first picture here, so i hope you like it
Very nice for your first image!
A couple of suggestions:
-
Floor texture is very stretched. Play with the X & Y values in the material settings to get the texture fixed up a little bit.
-
I think it is a little bright, (but just my opinion). Maybe tone down the lighting a little bit to set a more moody image.
-
Reduce the size of the flare on the panel. As it is now, it os the focus of your image and draws you straight to it rather than looking at all the other things.
Keep it up!

Yup, really nice, for a first picture:
-
Floor texture is stretched, but don’t play with those values, use ‘Glob’ rather than ‘Orco’ (the default - greenish buttons in the top middle of material window)
-
Red flare is way too strong
-
There is a strange shadow on floor, center right… maybe one of your spot has too short ClipEnd or dist?
This is the kind of scene I’d love seeing with Radiosity
Stefano
Ah, yes! That is definitely a better way to do it. Scrap my suggestion.
/me now feels like an idiot

I think that shadow on the floor comes from spotlights, witch i used to make shadows. Radiosity lightning would look better, and i learned few days ago how to use it. I think im going to make new version with tose little corrections and radiosity
Very nice !! indeed !!
The floor is a little bit shiny …
Great stuff, cooridors are cool!!! But definatly dont hold back at posting your stuff here, we dont bite…hard!!!
Matt
Blend on, and blend well!!!
that looks pretty good, one suggestion, a new server to upload your pics too, this took me 7 minutes to load, yikes
Using global as standard mapping could cause bad habit, especially when you’re going to animate your scene and see that your texture doesn’t move along with your objects after the 24 hour rendering. Better using an empty to map it with.
where’s the rust? ive never seen that kind of floor not rusty before…
THat looks nice. Please get a faster server, though. It took me like 5 mins to download your pic. I am setting up my own server here soon. Much faster that way.
