Teeth ridges / grooves?

Hoping to do this procedurally, trying to make some teeth with ridges / grooves and there are lots of teeth tutorials but can’t find one for the ridges (surface). Also not human teeth but ones that come to a point.

Found a solution but not entirely sure if it’s the best option, would have liked not to use UV but instead pinch somehow I suppose it works though …
