This is an animation I made for AET, a very small local television network.
The goal was to create something polished and professional looking, not too flashy.
15 seconds high res. I recommend saving instead of streaming.

Wow! Nice and smooth flow to it! Looked great!
Keep it up!

Nice, I like it!
Damn! That’s nice!
How long did that take to render?
Nice work that is. Polished looking, no doubt. Great lighting. Which renderer did you use?
It’s comforting to know that if all else fails I could always hit my local TV market, with Blender in hand, and blow away the old-school looking video graphics they still use around here (and probably pay thousands for).

Yeah, I just wish they had paid me for it.
For rendering, it was pure blender internal. Rendered overnight on a G5.
Did anyone catch the fatal flaw in the spinning globe? If only I had paid enough attention in geology to know which direction the earth spins…
Nice! I’d watch tv if all logos were like that! Is it just me, or is it visible that the camera is stationary at the beginning?
Oh wow, I was so busy being amazed I never noticed. I suppose that could cause a few phone calls to the station. Don’t ya just hate it when a little detail like the spin of the earth rises up to bite you on the butt? This could be me. Just tell the client you have dyslexia. ![]()
Edit: I shouldn’t be so flip. There’s no easy fix for this. And it’s for an educational network? Seriously, this sounds like something I would do. I would be getting drunk right about now if this was already turned in (and I don’t drink).
