He-blend is at the moment developing the best GE games, both graphically and conceptually.
p00f is making the most playable games.

Thanks p00f, but unlike your self, I haven’t actually ever produced a game that I’ve shared with the community, given that I do almost purely graphical work, and I also focus mainly on tutorials and education.
And Jesse is right, I haven’t seen a lot of the really experienced people around in a while.
And by the way, I nominate Blengine and OTO way above my self.
man how did i forget OTO. Great tutorials. Dim also appreciate your tuts. You’ve got me interested in terragen for content creation.
spike1907 - knowledgeable on all sorts of opengl and i bet directx, and a bunch of other stuff…( has changed his user name, but does not post often enough for me to remember his new userid)

fireside - has experimented with lots of different things so he’s got lots of good advice

Also, I think PlantPerson is one of the most underappreciated developers in the community. The zark games deserve alot more attention than people give it (actually I think some of that stuff can be blamed on version transition bugs when bullet was first implemented, probably made things harder to move to the next version and continue the zark craze). Still, very good developer.
There have been many, many people around who were much, much more acomplished than me or probably anyone else that will post here. Those guys probably moved on to bigger and better things by now though.
Just like saluk went to straight C and OGRE.
Oh, and I forgot Scabootssca. He’s been kicking around for awhlie and has made some really great stuff. I still use his mouslook script.

There’s a lot more other guys along the way. I wouldn’t say whose the most accomplished. Those guys are definitely pretty much the most knowledgeable then and now.
=P Accomplished is too vague I guess. Hehe, I have a slew of other guys I respect and considered pretty accomplished in the GE.

right now on the IRC Oopz is the one who has helped me out the most when I was new.
I would say he is “#1 in my book”,

What you said about the original Zark game gets me thinking… perhaps I should re-make the old one with Bullet physics and a new control system…
yeah Zark was cool accept I can’t get it to work on the version I have
my 300 gb hardrive is just so disorganized I didn’t bring myself to install yet another version of blender so I could play it lol
WTF??! Nobody has mentioned Luma or anyone else in the Club Silo development team. That’s the best Blender game to date (speaking in graphic terms).

Also, STELLA was very helpful when I was starting with the BGE. I wouldnt say he’s the most accomplished but he does help out a lot in the forums. I dont know where he is now though, i havent seen him post in a good long while.
I nominate Doc Holiday. It amazes me that no one has mentioned him yet.
Also, I agree with VenomSevenX. Erwin, Luma and herman.tulleken have done more to make the BGE “respectable” to the rest of the Blender community than anyone else to date.
