Great work

So, what is Tengu?

Idk what it means in his art work, but the only “tengu” i know of is this one form EVE Online https://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Tengu

The origin of Tengu is found in Japanese myth / folklore. Popular character in Japanese pop culture as well.

nice work! what did you do the final rendering with, cycles?

this one I rendered in octane

ha ok, I have to get on this rendering engine with the free version on blender, but you can’t find tutorials on it, even paying, well I’m nothing for the moment.

its not about rendering engine, it’s about you… how you set lights, materials, composition etc
don’t think 3rd party engine does everything, but if youre still willing to use octane make sure to read manual

Great picture, the details are overwhelming, - of course I whould like to understand their purpose, but first a great look : A good idea perfectly executed!
