Right now, the main thing you can work on is giving this image a sense of place (even if it’s supposed to be in a more abstract style).

For instance, there’s nothing in the room besides a computer monitor and the shelf it rests on. The scene could use more variety for starters, and maybe you can create a sense the light is coming from somewhere rather than what looks like the default one in the center of the scene.

Yeah you are right. I added the area light because without it the floor looks strangely dark. Was thinking hard how to make the light look reasonable o_o
