terraforming mars scene

This is a scene I’m currently working on.
Terrain data are from a lidar survey of the area I’m living in (plus some vertical exaggeration).
Water wave generated using FEM analysis and a custom modifier.
Half sphere in the background is a place holder for an arcology.
Not quite sure what to put near-shore though …

the color is a bit too BLUE and red

the REAL color of the martian surface varies from NORMAL earth beach sand ( yellow)
to reddish beach sand
