After using Blender for a few years I still haven’t made an artwork, but I thought I’d share a work in progress of a test room I built a while back.
Both are straight renders with no compositing or post production, made in Blender and rendered with Cycles.
I made the room thinking I could use it to test Cycles materials, just to realise that the amount of samples required makes it impractical. But every now and again, whenever I’ve updated materials or have something new that I can add to the scene, I come back and give it another render to see what it looks like.
Here’s a clay style render too…
The ski equipment, and mountains are part of a larger project.
