I’ve had somthing similar happen once in a while ( Intel Core i7-2600, about 3GB of RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250, WinXP 32bits sp3 )
I used to get it also when 2.5 first came out I have a NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250 also.
This doesn’t seem to be a specific graphic card’s issue, though. I’ve got an AMD Radeon HD 6770M.
Also, I use an Intel Core i7, 8GB RAM, Mac OS 10.7.5 (64bit).
