This is the first time I have used text and I seem to be getting some strange results. The text has been converted to a mesh and then parented to a curve. Is it just a normals problem, because I can’t seem to find the error?

D’oh! Something wrong with Picasa. I’ve attached it now so hopefully you can all see it.
You can try Alt-J (Tris to Quad) and Alt-F (Beauty Fill) in Edit mode and also turn on AutoSmooth (F9 buttons) before rendering.
