texture animation in Blenderplayer

I created an animated texture which works fine in Blender, but when I run my game as a standalone the animation doesn’t work. In fact, the plane that the texture runs on is white with no image at all. None of my static textures do this just the animated one.

Does anyone have any idea what I need to do to get it to work. I’m using the Mac OS X version of Blender, if that makes any difference.

Have you packed that specific texture in your .blend? Would be the first thing I would check because it sounds like if you have not.

Yes, I’ve packed the texture. I even turned off autopack and packed it manually to make sure.
