Texture appearing on wrong side

I’ve been trying to put a simple animation together of going through a space ship interior but when I started adding in polygon squares for the coridoor around the corner I discovered that the texture was only appearing on one side and it was the wrong one. I tried fixing it by spining them around through 180 about z but that didn’t work as well as adding them in from the reverse view (back as opposed to front) can someone help me? I’ve got to finnish it by thursday for School.

select the offending face in edit mode, then “w” selectflip normals…
