What would you guys point out as the biggest shortcoming that Blender has when it comes to map baking, I assume speed and lack of height maps are just one of many. But what would those other things be?
Speaking of map baking, is it safe to say that all of the information in this video is severly outdated when it comes to normal map baking (manipulation, conversion and transfer to Unity), and in fact was never correct to begin with as the comment by kebrus points out.
In other words, would an almost “perfect” dithering algorithm procces in Blender’s post baking process be a welcoming addition? Unless that’s what noise threshold under in the render section already does.
