on the fuselage of a plane i’ve distortion before and after the cockpit. Could I only change those texture parts and keep all the rest the same?
I tried with seam and unwrap but this changes the whole texture layout.

sounds like a job for live transform…
select the faces you want to change, so you only see them in the UV window, and pin them ( p ) on all the edges where they meet the rest of the texture. then enable live transform, and select a UV node where the distortion is occuring, and pin it, then move it around. the non pinned nodes should optimize themselves, while keeping the pinned edges intact.
