Texture Filter Size / Minimum Filter Size in Blender 2.53

Hi.

I’ve been doing some texturing with 2.53 and came up with akward artifacts in the model’s edges. To correct it I reduced the Filter Size of the texture to 0.1 and checked the Minimum Filter Size option. This helps but doesn’t solve the issue.

Can anyone enlight me on these texture settings and on what might be happening here? Thanks.

Ta my knowledge, you should /increase/ the filter size to reduce artifacts. This will also make your image more blurry, so keep it as low as possible and maybe try using compositing nodes to achieve a good result.
