Sorry if this is confusing, but I have a flat object I need to texture (UV map?) (a cape for example). How would I go about texturing (UV map?) the cape and making different textures for both sides?
I would also like to know that, and how to texture 2 uvmaps on one side for example a normal map and a regular texture with totally different uv unwraps.
If it’s not possible try making the doublesided options off and duplicating the faces, give them flipped normals and then you have your second uv layout.
I have never heard or found Blender functionality allowing different textures on both sides of a single face. Blender also doesn’t have multiple UVmaps yet, but I think developer Brecht (the one who gave us ABF++) is working on it.
