Texture Images in UV editing and in Properties panel : do they 'overlap '?
I have a hard time to understand texture image relationship in Blender between UV editing and Texture Property panel. Especially, when exporting to COLLADA.
To go straight to the point, my question is : do I need ‘Image1.jpg’ in both UV editing panel and Texture Property panel to get both correct Rendering and Export to COLLADA ???
I have UV edited ‘Image1.jpg’ onto an object. When rendering or choosing ‘Texture’ as Viewport Shading, I do not see the texture on the object. Is this expected ??
But export to COLLADA is fine with the expected separated Imga1.jpg file.
In the Texture tab (Proprety panel), if I open ‘Image1.jpg’ (in addition to UV editing) then I see the texture when rendering and export in COLLADA is fine too.
