Me and my friends are using 2.49b because Ogre does not yet have an exporter for 2.5 We’re still somewhat new to the program, and we were hoping someone could guide us on how we can add a material to selected faces, as opposed to the entire mesh. The texture/material interface in 2.49b is somewhat overwhelming.
Apply a different material to the different faces of your object. Blender 2.49 is limited to a maximum 16 materials per object.
