Texture limit.

I’m about to start texturing a model and need to know something - is there a limit to the NUMBER of textures a model can have? For example, I have a building to texture, can I apply an unlimited amount of textures to it from countless texture files? If there is a limit, what is the limit?

Each object can have many thousands of materials and each of these individual materials can have a maximum of 18 textures applied to it. You’ll be limited to how many textures at the size you want by the hardware you are using.
