texture mapping

now this is something thats been bothering me for a while, HOW do you place a texture precisely to the desired spot. for example: if i want to put a green triangle to a middle of a characters nose, how it’s done in blender.

Best way is to UVmap.

to put it on precisely, IMHO best is to tap it with your finger first …

You can use an Empty placed at the location you want and apply the image texture to the “Object”, (being the empty), instead of the default ORCO setting in the Material window.
