Texture Node Editor Preview does not work. (Ver.4.4.1)

Hi Blender users,
I have a question about the Texture Node Editor Preview.
After upgrading Blender from version 4.1 to 4.4, the Texture Node Preview no longer works.

Previously, I could preview textures from the Texture Node Editor through the Compositor:
Texture Node Editor → Texture Node (Compositor) → Image Editor
(Please see the attached image below.)

Does anyone know how to preview textures in the Image Editor in version 4.4?

I also noticed that in version 4.1, I selected “Brush” as the Texture Type,
but in version 4.4, I need to select “Line Style” to see the nodes.
Could this change be affecting the preview?

Thank you for reading!

In 4.5 alpha, Cycles/EEVEE procedural textures are available in compositor.
But, indeed, developers broke texture nodes for compositor in 4.4.
It is not just the preview. They are not rendered, anymore.

That was broken by brush asset refactor.
Texture nodes are still supported by brushes. But you need to add a texture to a brush, first.

Thank you for replying.
So, we need to wait until 4.5 release.
In Version.4.4, there is no solutions for my question, isn’t it?

I did not see one.
Preview for brush is not working in Texture tab since 2.8.

The only way to see to what texture looks like is to look at texture overlay in Texture Paint mode.
But anyways, if you can see what is result of texture nodes ; it will be ignored in composited render.
So, you can not rely on texture nodes, for compositing in 4.4.
Preview and render works for images and old BI procedural textures, but not a texture using a texture nodes mix.
