In texture paint mode, whenever I paint a texture on specific spots, like for example the corner specified by the arrow above, it creates a striped effect across the whole texture map that messes it up. In most other areas of the object it doesn’t happen. In other objects, it doesn’t happen.
I used Smart UV project to unwrap this object’s UV, and then re-scaled/rearranged some parts of the UV map.
