texture painting directly on the texture itself

Blenders direct texture painting on a model is an awesome future.
However it leaves me sometimes with difficult to reach parts as black spots.

Is it possible without doing all import export to gimp/photoshop , to directly paint on the texture itself, ad the texture preview pane ?

So one could more easily get rid of the small glitches and keep the workflow short

You can paint directly in UV/Image editor.

@TimoShch thats handy exactly what i was looking for !!

And yes gimp/photoshop can be used too… but its way to much for what i wanted
