Texture Painting Keeps Mirroring After Applying Mirror Modifier

My Modeling keeps mirroring in texture painting mode even after applying mirror modifier. I even turned off the symmetry panel. Please help me TT-TT

If you made this with half a model (like i did with half of Suzanne) and the mirror modifier then the UVs for one side are also used to the other (used from the same location but mirrored on the object ). But if you really want individul UVs then you have to mirror them (on one half left is now right and…).

(Yes it’s the same term in both versions.) See the option at the right in the Mirror modifier → Data…


You properly have to move one side and scale both back to 0…1. And maybe also your texture…
