Texture Won't Go Away

Hello Blenderolics…

I’m trying to apply textures to my model, but one of the textures I applied to selected faces of a mesh is determined to stick to a face I don;t want it on. I’ve tried just reapplying the wanted texture after re-unwrapping the face, but that doesn’t want to work. I also tried the reset option in the UV menu, but that didn’t work. I checked the materials properties for that face and it’s sset to the wromg one, but when I try to change it to the right one it changes all the faces for the wrong one!!!

I’m going in circles trying to figure this out…

It happens every time… I post a question when I can’t figure something out, and as soon as I do, I figure it out. Go figure… :stuck_out_tongue:

I forgot to assign the proper material to the face before trying to apply a texture.

Someone really needs to write better documentation for UV mapping in the Blender docs.
