I make a model, rig it, UV unwrap it, but for some reason it doesn’t change color like it normally should when I unwrap it. Normally it would turn pink/white when in Texture Mode, but for some reason it remained gray.
As a test I decided to apply all of the UV images to the model and see if they appear. In 3D view, the model remains gray, but when I render it the textures appear fine.
Is there a way to fix this? I’ve done the exact same thing when UV mapping like with all my other models, and their textures appeared in 3D view just fine. Why won’t it work with this one?
Here’s a quick image of what I mean
I’ve spent a lot of time on this model and I want to be able to see the textures while I animate it.
I don’t know why it’s not showing up. I’ve fiddled with almost EVERY setting I could imagine when it comes to images and UVs but it just won’t work. It just remains gray. Doesn’t turn white, doesn’t turn pink, doesn’t show shading in shade mode.
The only thing that does is the eyes and that’s because I haven’t touched them yet. Just put them on the rig. Is there a way to fix this?
