Textures are crappy!

Im making a water scene for a game and the texture that i made is really good its like 32 bit and then when i apply it to a object it looks gross like if it were 16bit!

How can i fix this?

what video card do you have?

what color depth are you in?

many graphics cards downsample textures

What is the resolution of the texture and what resolution
is your rendered scene?
