Why is it that the same texture looks completely different between the two renderers? And, is there a way to make yafray to halos?
I found that yayfray had a problem with TGA (or was it PNG?), in the end I just swapped the format.
how do you mean completely different? the colours were wrong?
and no yafray doesn’t have halo’s
I think that TGA is the safer of the two, being that BLENDER is Python driven and it churns out TGA files when you use the built-in scripts for saving UV images. I never had a problem with TGA files, including TGA files with an ALPHA channel.
Make sure that your image files are NON-Compressed and at least 24bit.
