Textures not loading in render

Hello everyone, i recently started with blender but i am now faced with a issue of a marbel texture not rendering. example pictures below:

(sorry had to delete this image because of a 1 image restriction, anyways this image just showed the scene in the viewport shading mode with the texture being present)

Image above shows the scene in the viewport shading mode where the texture is present.

As you can see the texture of the countertop turns black and the top left corner darkens alot.

Idk what is the cause of this or how to fix it, any help is appreciated thx in advance.

here is the image of the viewport

Welcome :tada:…

So: Anything (special) about the material… or the settings of the render engine (and which)… ??

For example i have some slighly problems when metalness is up to 1.0 in eevee… when using the iGPU.

A texture missing would result in a pink texture… not in a black.
There are quite a lot possible reasons.

best would be if you could upload your blend file and paste a link to the cloud, where you uploaded it. Then we can definetely help you.
second best option is to provide an image of your material node setup - which might lead to more questions we have to ask you…because there are a lot of reasons which can cause that.

I dont think there is anything special about it. i am currently using cycles for my render engine on my laptop with an integrated GPU

So are you saying it is loading incorrectly?

Where do you suggest i upload the file?

Also an image of your shader tree for the table will help.

e.g. upload to dropbox and paste the link here

here is the link:

Do you mean this?:

Yes, your metallic image is connected to the normal map. It should be normal map not metallic? metallic should be connected to metallic?
You forgot to load the images in your link file.

I can’t believe it… you made be do render a donut… :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: [ no i used somthign else :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: ]

Hmmm… i just added some random images to the shader of the Counter object…

RandomTextureForCounter2

…still some pink from the other missing textures… but still… no problem… maybe because i used 3.6 ? And 4.x.y does had some changes in the preincipled shader !!

Wait… the Data API in the outliner says: Version 3.3.6

You are now a donut nuts.

Now thinking about this… naaaa… :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Ok thx for pointing that out, but when i made that change and tried to render from the same angle as seen in my original post it stil does not appear, but when i render from a top down view it does seem to work. example below

do you know why this is?

I am not sure but it could be something to do with the light been below the table line? what if you raised the light up slightly?
