texturing glass slices animation


I need to texture an animation of a set of broken glass slices coming togther.
My problem is that I dont know how to do it because the texture to use in the slices is an image that must be displaying correctly at the end of the animation when the glass pieces are all together. (the animation is like an window braking but in reverse).

How can I do this?

This is one of those questions that I’ve never needed answered but always wanted answered.
You might try the UVProject modifier after making pieces (which sounds like a pain)
