I’m modeling low poly furniture. A few chairs and tables, but had issues UV rapping. When I used a simple texture I made in 10 minutes it looks stretched out.
Can a experienced blender modeler recommend me a tutorial that covers that topic?
Your question is too broad, therefore look here for uv unwrapping http://cgcookie.com/blender/2011/01/21/intro_uvmapping/
If you have a stretched result that usually means you’ve badly unwrapped your object.
Before you uv unwrap ALWAYS ALWAYS make sure the scale of each axis is 1 and use the correct unwrap method, generally speaking the default Angle Based for organic and Conformal for hard surface objects
