I have a nurbs kind of shaped block. When I use cubical or flat mapping, some spots look good but ohter sides have liny streaks.
Is there an easy way to fix this or do I need to learn this complex uv maping stuff?
Mmmm,
nurbs and subsurfs both tends to deform texture since they are non-uniform mappings.
You can try to convert nurbs to mesh, but I think you won’t get better… amybe UV is the only answer

This is bad. It has flat sides, just some are angled. Why didn’t blender make better nurbs?
I dont want to make my project one ugly mesh.
