Texturing Problem.

I’m trying to follow this tutorial. http://www.bestnetz.de/%7Eoarnold/tutorial/Chrome/Chrome_eng.htm
But when I apply the Ray Mirror the object becomes transparent. Why is it doing this?:confused:

I’m following the tutorial to a T. Ray transp isn’t on neither is ZTransp I don’t get it

Does it become really transparent or do the reflections make it look as if it was transparent. In the material preview, a black sphere with Raymirror looks transparent, but that’s just the reflections of the walls.

yeah =.= thats what it turned out that it was. that and when it rendered i had a solid color back ground =.=
