texturing question (video included.)

what are the method these guys are using for texturing their ground? the ground seems to be more realistic…

the way I use for texturing the ground is dead simple…I just upload some ground texture and unwrap it to the uv editor that’s it… are these guys using the same usual technique as mine or is it a bit more complicated?:spin:

Idont know anything about the game engine, but their probably using more then one texture.
