I have a body and head model, and he is plain. I would like to texture him. I’m looking for a pale complexion. previously i have been using ramp shaders, but its too smooth. skin has a distinct “cloudy” (which i cannot describe) texture to it. Also, his face lacks those dark spots, frecklish/stubble areas which i don’t know how to add.
can anybody help suggest methods of adding things like wrinkles, textured stubble, skin spots, etc.
me being quite new to anything other than simple UV, ramps, and normal texture applications with blender’s built in stuff, i would enjoy more non-technical jargon explanations on how to achieve what i am looking for.
thanks in advance.

where can i get good face textures for the UV map?
blendernation just had an article on 20 sites. one of them was just skin.
one more thing, i have a whole body. i only want to UV map the head, then somehow blend it into the body texture. is there a way to unwrap only the head or something?
