Texturing workflow, and how to actually do it.

Hi,
I have been modelling with blender for a while now, but am absolutely useless when it comes to texturing. Can anyone point me to some really good videos on the complete process of texturing after modelling? Also, how do you make bump maps, spec maps etc? I am completely lost as soon as I have to start coloring in my model, so any advice would be fantastic.
Also, what is a normal workflow for this process?

Have you seen the Johhnny Blender 3 series? (gooogle it I don’t have the link). It covers the UV mapping aspect pretty well. Not so much the bump map and spec maps.
