Ok, I guess I knew how to apply textures to an object the entire time I was messing with them. But I only see it when its rendered. Why don’t the textures show up in the 3D viewport?


because that would require

choose two:
a) baking the texture
b) a graphics card made of pure awesome
c) lots of work by the blender developers that would not be usuable on everybodys machine and would be buggy on at best all platforms but one [where platform is the os, cpu, and graphics card]

if it’s an image texture it will show up in the 3d view when you uv map
