ok, so with this dude’s logic nodes addon, i made this hurt system, with an easily configurable amount of health to take away, with a property named “hurtvalue”.
and now, like in the title, the player i made a while ago can get hurt and respawn at the empty named “player_spawn” using this nodes system. if you play your cards right, you can probably get this to work with multiple things, or just straight rip the nodes from the .blend in the zip i have attached to this post. just make sure you credit me if you use it in anything.
make sure you’re using upbge 0.3.0, because it doesn’t work with anything below that
