The 1,000,000 vertex model.

I’m not sure what you would use this model for, perhaps rendering. It’s usable an any standard Windows XP. I’d have the model for download, but its over 110 MBs and it doesn’t fit on my site. Hopfully, I’ll get it on SourceForge.net soon.

Stunned…

Okay, I really dont see the point of this post. What does it have to do with the game engine? that’s way to high poly to use in the game engine, and it’s just a tree, anybody can take a plane with an alpha mapped leaf texture, and duplicate it until you reach over 1 mil verts.

It’s cool for rendering “drools”, but yeah how is this related to the bge?

lol so random :stuck_out_tongue:

It looks nice, but the trees in oblivion look better, and less poly too. My point is, its not the poly/vertices’s count that make trees look nice.

Even the Xbox 360 and the PS3 can’t handle something like that in large numbers as far as I know.

If two of the latest powerful consoles can’t handle it or many of those how do you expect the BGE to handle this?

Ahhh Trees…

Reminds me of of the cool summer afternoons, sitting under a nice shady tree with my wife.
Where I sit and ponder on the cloud formations in the sky, and wonder why i married a woman that must have her back shaved, at least once a week…

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Dude I cant help it!!! MWahahhaha!!! That is the most hilarious thing ever!!!

3,907,773 Verts…And this is with out cars and people…

1 milion HAHAHAHAHA!!!

I cant even add more to this scene with out it crashing. I am getting a quad cpu and new motherboard soon. (income-tax) So we should push 5 million verts easy.

You better hope blender will support quadro fx or fire gl.

Hope your wife doesn’t see that.
