Could the next one be announced ahead of time? Just don’t post the topic until the contest officially begins. That would let more people enter.
It was posted on the front page of Elysiun 3 hours or more before it began.

OK, that makes me feel a little better. I usually only check elysiun once a day at most, so a little more notice would be nice (24 hours or so before the start), but I understand if this is a limited time contest, perhaps the short notice is part of the fun.
I don’t mean it as a complaint, just a suggestion. I think a lot more people would compete if there was more notice.
I would have done it, but I can’t bring myself to break my roughly 20 consecutive weekend challenge participation run. Maybe once I win one I will take the odd break. Besides, 24 hours is an awfully short time to make an animation, which is probably what will be required to win.
