i think the first question is to wonder why most men keep work 40hours a week on bulsht jobs despite machines and computers working for us. There’s a reason for that.
But we can’t ignore the good it can do. Most things have a flipside anyway
List the good and see how well it stacks up against losing your job.
I’m not saying the effects of A.I is going to be all good. Yes there are a lot of jobs that could be lost because of AI, but there are also lot of benefits which make it something worth looking into. Maybe with enough time AI could end up being more of a benefit as a whole.
at this point i don’t see any benefit AI can bring to us… but a massive orwellian state. Machines put some weights of our shoulders, but all those new technologies of information are not precisely bringing us happiness and a meaningful life
