Character in Progress
Sorry for the blurriness
He looks grumpy in a funny way. Keep going!
Thanks Toshi, and yeah that was the idea =)
Wanted him to look like he was humorously indifferent to literally everything
Don’t suppose you have any rendering/compositing/modelling/particle suggestions that you think might help by any chance?
Looking good! My only suggestion at this point would be to make the neck a little less wide
rendering/compositing/modelling/particle suggestions
This is kinda difficult, it sounds like you’re not quite sure where you’re going with this image so my suggestion is to decide that first.
What kind of character is this? Is he angry, is he nice, is he always hungry (etc., etc.)? What’s his home like?
Modeling is already fine, so you could work on his fur unless this is the exact look you’re going for.
Then I would give him a background (according to the ideas you came up with above). Then you can worry about rendering and compositing.
Thanks Triastase, I’ll see what comes out with that

I have had a bit of thought on that-
I want to do a series of scenarios that would be really unlikely and impossible for a bear to find themselves in, but have him looking with the same deadpan expression throughout (think Buster Keaton and his stoneface routine). In other words, he’s a bit of a cynic. It’s more or less coming up with said scenarios at the moment that i’m trying to figure out
Sounds like a lot of fun. I’m looking forward!
I shall certainly try to not disappoint
Anyone got any suggestions as to something he could do? Go outrageous, but within reason.
