Ye, was just curious - I’ve been looking at the tasks on the developer page, but it’s pretty hard to see where it’s heading. The poly build for example has been added, and there’s a task for retopology but no way to see when/if there’s gonna be some progress on it.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m pretty happy to see any kind of progress, but currently we can see medium term projects which “may be added” in 2.81 a long term projects, some of which seem to be going to take years.
I’m not keeping track of all Sculpt Mode Features branch functions that are compatible with Dyntopo in the mean time. I’m using the 2.81 master builds, am noticing that features from the Sculpt Mode branch are trickling in, and just wanted to express how much I’d love Dyntopo not to take a back seat, because development seems very focused on the OpenVDB Remesher workflow. That’s all. But I absolutely love what Pablo is doing.
They have changed management after 2.80 Release, Brecht is no longer the Lead Project Manager but Lead Architect ,both Nathan & Dalai are now in control of the management that’s why most of the tasks are empty as they have to talk with the Module Owners and set goals first, give it time until everything settles and i am sure we will see a more clearn roadmap after that.
