Yep, fiddled with it a couple of times. I’m much underwhelmed, particularly when comparing it to SDF Modeler and MagicaCSG. And as @Musashidan mentioned, it’s Adobe-centric, aimed at vector output for Illustrator artists.
When it comes to online SDF platforms, I’d prefer Womp, although that’s also not my cup o’ tea, with their sluggish live streaming system, the subscription that’s necessary for the good stuff, and the tedious “Share your work with our community in the online gallery!” shizzle. ![]()
I’ve heard good things about Xiamo. Haven’t tried that yet, but I just saw that their monthly subscription price for the Pro version has been considerably lowered.
But I’ll stick to SDF Modeler. I’m closely involved in its development, which is great, as I can ask for new features and have bugs fixed swiftly while I’m creating new stuff in SDFM.
Last but not least, I’m still eagerly awaiting the major update of the ConjureSDF Blender add-on, which will include compatibility with the latest Blender versions (including Blender for macOS), SDF curves and coloring.
