I started messing around a little in blender, and this is the result. Took about 15 minutes to do.
Not too worried about the textures for now, I may end up rendering in Maya with Mental Ray.
PLEASE critique =) I want to make this as good as it can be. There’s still a lot of detail I’m missing on the helmet. After the base topology is done I will bring it into ZBrush and sculpt out some bullet holes and such.
